Equatorial Guinea climbed 17 places to 27th with just one loss in 7 matches this year including winning the Cemac Cup.

Loser of the Year: Kenya

Kenya dropped 15 spots to 35th with a dismal record of 7 losses and 2 draws since Mar 2005.

Other notables:

Tanzania compiled a tidy record of .6 wins 4 draws and 1 loss this year seeing them climb 14 places to 28th for their highest ranking in over 6 years.

Guinea jumped 12 places to 4th for their highest ever ranking having recorded 7 wins 4 draws and just 2 losses since Sep 2005.

Cape Verde Islands beat 4th-ranked Guinea in their African Cup of Nations Qualifier Group and jumped 12 places to 18th for their highest ever ranking.

Rwanda won just 2 of 10 matches this year dropping 14 places to 34th for their lowest ranking in 5 years.

Swaziland won only 2 of 11 matches this year dropping 12 places to 44th.
